These portable filters are designed to provide a secondary protection to critical circuits in medium risk locations and can be used in conjunction with secondary surge protection devices (SPD).
This device is particularly suitable for use with plug in UPS systems, servers, instrumentation. POS systems, specialised industrial and commercial portable equipment where a high degree of protection is required on mission critical applications in harsh electrical environments. This device is not intended for general domestic use.
These models are designed to connect in series with the power system as close as possible to the device to be protected. Excess voltage transients are diverted to Neutral and Earth and thus limiting the damage to the downstream load. Once the spike is over, the unit will return back to normal operation.
