iHandle Intelligent Electronic Swinghandle Kit - POE Version

The iHandle intelligent rack handle is a next-generation locking solution engineered specifically for data centre cabinets and mission-critical IT environments. Combining secure electronic access control, environmental monitoring, and simple installation, the iHandle delivers enterprise-grade rack security without the complexity of traditional door access systems.

Designed to retrofit seamlessly into standard 25x150mm cabinet cut-outs, the iHandle transforms existing racks into smart, monitored access points — with minimal cabling and no requirement for dedicated structured cabling infrastructure.

Kit includes: 2x iHandles with built in Temperature & Humidity sensor 2x Door contact sensors, 1xPOE bridge, installation kit with all cables and brackets for front and back door includes built in BQT custom Mifare Desfire reader. RAM “Rack access Manager software.

The iHandle integrates multi-technology card access, door monitoring, and centralised management into a single compact unit.

    Unlike traditional locking handles, the iHandle includes integrated temperature and humidity sensing. This enables:

  • Proactive thermal monitoring at cabinet level
  • Improved compliance and reporting
  • Faster identification of cooling or airflow issues
  • When paired with Rack Access Management (RAM) software, environmental data and access events are fully logged and reportable.
